Covid-19: Recoveries in Mogale City pass the 11 000 mark

The total number of Covid-19 cases reported in the West Rand District is 22 492 with 614 deaths and 20 933 recoveries.

The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Mogale City stood at 11 759 according to Gauteng Provincial Government’s latest breakdown. A total of 11 011 people have recovered so far. There has been 320 Covid-19 related deaths.

Rand West City and Merafong City, which are also part of the West Rand District, have had 6 419 and 4 301 cases respectively. Rand West City and Merafong City have seen 5 964 and 3 953 recoveries respectively.

The total number of Covid-19 cases reported in the West Rand District is 22 492 with 614 deaths and 20 933 recoveries.

 

In the neighbouring City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality Region C, which comprises Roodepoort, the number of confirmed cases to date stands at 19 289 and 18 588 recoveries.

The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Gauteng was standing at 384 440 with 359 417 recoveries and 7 891 deaths.
