Start of new school year 2021: Millennium excited to welcome back their learners

They now offer a new e-learning online platform and a free Wi-fi hotspot.

Laerskool Millennium Primary said they are ready for the 2021 school year, and can’t wait for the learners to return.

Principal Eugene Grobler said parents and learners could expect all Covid-19 protocols and measures to be in place from 15 February.

Temperature and symptom screening will be done before learners enter the school grounds. Social distancing will be maintained in the classroom and on the school grounds. Sanitizing and the wearing of masks will also be emphasised.”

Eugene explained that learners will be returning to school in two alternating groups. The school is extremely proud of their online platform where e-lessons will be made available to learners.

Learners and parents are able to download these e-lessons at home, and they are a means to revise and reinforce important content and concepts done in class. They have made a Wi-fi hotspot available at school where parents can download the e-lessons at no charge.

We are excited to start the new school year and we want to give our learners the best possible education,” said Eugene.

He also wished his staff, learners and their parents a wonderful and blessed 2021.
