KHS 2020 matric class also one of the most impressive in the West

Krugersdorp High School’s 2020 Grade 12 group finally finished their high school journey when they picked up their results on Tuesday, 23 February.

With an 88,1 percent 2020 Matric pass rate across the West Rand, which places its schools firmly in second place in the country, it’s easy to see why the majority of the former learners who left their school grounds on Tuesday, 23 February did so with bright smiles on their faces after fetching their results.

Krugersdorp High School (KHS) boasts with an excellent pass rate and satisfactory number of bachelor’s passes.

Lesedi Moremi arrived at KHS at 8am on the oddly cold morning where she met up with friends to fetch her results. “I’m doing architecture this year,” she said, admitting she was not sure as to which university she’d be attending, “Maybe UJ or somewhere else. I like to draw and do new things every day, interacting with people.”

Tinevimbo Moyo is looking to take a gap year, but hopes to pursue her love of cooking by later studying a culinary course.

Jayden Watt is already working at Leca Sauce and is looking to study Management at Varsity College next year. “I guess I’ll just miss the routine of school, and seeing my teachers and peers,” she said.
