PMB woman looking for her long-lost family in Kdp
A woman from Pietermaritzburg is looking for her family with whom she has not had contact in more than 21 years.
A woman from the Esigodini Location in Pietermaritzburg is looking for her long-lost family after not being in contact with them for almost 22 years.
The 47-year-old Sindi Bangini explained that she was looking for her cousin, Lindeleni Portia Zuma who would be 41 years old now, and her daughter Siphesihle Zuma who would be 25.
The last time Sindi was in touch with the mother and daughter was when they were living in an informal settlement near the Leratong Hospital, but she said she was informed that they had moved from there and were now living in Tshepisong, Ebumnandini.
Sindi said the last time she saw her cousin and Siphesihle, who was just a little girl at the time, was in 2000. After that they lost contact. She explained that the people who knew where the mother and daughter were have also since passed on.
Portia and I grew up together and I miss them so much. I am looking forward to meeting them again,” she said.
She also wants to find them because her fear is that should Portia pass on, Siphesihle will never meet her family in KwaZulu-Natal.
Anyone who can help Sindi find her family should feel free to phone her on 072 102 1176.
