Police are asking the public for information about this man's whereabouts. He is wanted for questioning in connection with a rape case.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted for questioning in a Tarlton rape case.

At about 3.30pm on 6 March, a 19-year-old was visiting her boyfriend at his plot in Tarlton. While she was sleeping, a man known to the victim came into the shack and instructed her to undress. He told the boyfriend to have sex with her while he was watching them,” said Sergeant Carmen Hendricks, spokesperson for the West Rand District Police and Randfontein Police Station.

When the victim’s boyfriend refused, the suspect assaulted him and raped the woman. He has since been on the run.

Tarlton Police are appealing to anyone who recognises the person in the photo to call them on 011 952 0012, or alternatively make use of the My SAPS app, or contact the Crime Stop number on 08600 10111 if you have any information you would like to relay anonymously.
