Excellent, professional and friendly service at Dynamic Vision’s new practice
For many years Dynamic Vision has been part of the Krugersdorp community. The team launched their second practice in Kenmare on World Sight Day.
When you are looking for excellent, professional and friendly eye care you can always count on Dynamic Vision. Now more than 20 years after first opening their doors in the Key West Shopping Centre, they have expanded to Kenmare.
Much like the amazing team that run this practice, the VIP launch of their new practice on Thursday, October 14, was a true reflection of style and sophistication.
The launch coincided with World Sight Day, and speaking to optometrists Marle Esterhuizen and Leandra Lombard it is evident that eye care is not merely a business but a passion, and a passion for giving back as well.
Friends, family, patients and suppliers all joined the team for a gin, red and white wine pairing and live entertainment at the launch. The new practice at 46 Shannon Road officially opened their doors in August, and boast the latest in eye care technology.
Marle explained that they have a passion for child vision, one of the fields they specialise in. They want to make visiting the optometrist fun for children. At their practice they have everything to help children with vision problems from beginning to end, and most times specialist visits aren’t even needed.
They also assist people with diseased corneas to get specialised contact lenses.
“The soft contact lenses don’t work for people with these conditions and we can help them with contact lenses specific to their needs.”
One of the most remarkable aspects of Dynamic Vision must be the way they give back to the community. Marle explained that they work hand in hand with local schools. At the beginning of the year they work with schools to identify children with vision problems, which could lead to learning problems, and they test their eyes for free.
“We try to catch these problems early,” she said.
In partnership with Seiko Laboratories they provide spectacles to children who cannot afford it, at no cost. Last year they provided 36 learners from a local high school with much-needed spectacles, and helped many other schools as well.
They also provide specialist eye tests and do eye test for driver’s licences.
