Two people have been arrested because they are believed to have doused a man in petrol and set him alight.
Kagiso Police spokesperson Captain Solomon Sibiya said the two were arrested for attempted murder on Friday, November 19.
He explained that on November 2 at about 09:00 two suspects aged 21 and 32 were arrested after they allegedly dosed the victim with petrol and set him alight following an argument.
“The victim was rushed to the local hospital and his condition was critical. The motive is being investigated by the Kagiso Police.”
The suspects have been charged with attempted murder and will appear in the Kagiso Magistrates’ Court.
