‘Hard work worth it’ – St Ursula’s matric class of 2021

The News visited St Ursula's – one of the town's Independent Examinations Board (IEB) schools – to find out what some former matrics had to say.

The St Ursula’s School matric class of 2021 joined many other Independent Examinations Board (IEB) learners by celebrating a 98,39% pass rate this past week.

Victoria Gomes from St Ursula’s school was one of the 2021 matric learners who received her certificate on Wednesday, January 19. Victoria said she had a good and happy matric year. “It was hard, but in the end the results were worth it.” She now waits to hear good news from the university and would like to study astronomy and astrophysics at Wits.
