Katlego Molefe received her matric certificate on Wednesday, January 19. Katlego was a matric pupil at St Ursula's School in 2021. She said 2021 was a tough year and it was hard to juggle the responsibility of being a deputy and do school work. "I tried to balance leadership and academics, and thanks to the teachers and my friends I made it out alive." She hopes to study toward a BCom degree at the University of Pretoria, and later go into dentistry.
The St Ursula’s School matric class of 2021 joined many other Independent Examinations Board (IEB) learners by celebrating a 98,39% pass rate this past week.
Victoria Gomes from St Ursula’s school was one of the 2021 matric learners who received her certificate on Wednesday, January 19. Victoria said she had a good and happy matric year. “It was hard, but in the end the results were worth it.” She now waits to hear good news from the university and would like to study astronomy and astrophysics at Wits.
