In a post on social media recently EPR security revealed that one of their reaction officers had walked in on a robbery in progress and then had to dodge bullets.
In the post on Monday, January 24 they said their reaction officer was shot at by armed robbers on Kelly Street in Noordheuwel on Friday, January 21.
Reaction Officer Janse van Rensburg was doing a normal area patrol when armed robbers exited a residence after a home invasion,” read the post.
Fortunately neither the officer nor the residents sustained any injuries. “We thank the CPF for their assistance on the scene after the incident. We urge residents to remain vigilant at all times!”
