Taking on the world one pageant at a time
Gosiame Mokgalagadi recently became the ambassador for Miss Munsieville and is working her way into the acting world.
The 15-year-old Gosiame Mokgalagadi isn’t letting her age stand in her way as she’s climbing the ladder of the entertainment scene on the West Rand.
Last year she was named Miss Munsieville Ambassador in 2021, which is just the cherry on the cake for her pageantry career as Gosiame had won the Miss Krugersdorp Town School crown in 2018, became Miss Exquisite’s Overall Debutante of 2020, Miss Winter Angels Socialite 2021 and a few more.

Recently, though, Gosiame started testing the waters in the entertainment industry and became involved with Universal Dreamers Production.
I was recognised by Koketso Mhlongo who is the founder of the organisation. He coached me in acting and singing, and I was featured in some movies, music and music videos such as the amapiano music video ‘Woza’ by Lesego Dibe and Semende Ndlovu (aka Semmy Lover), and I acted in the ongoing series ‘No Happiness’ on YouTube. I also have my own modelling classes under the name Devine RG Modelling.”
Gosiame is looking forward to participating in more pageants and said, “Many people think that beauty pageants are all about the big hair, beauty, walking around on a stage and being plastic; but that’s not true.
This journey is about building self-confidence, learning, building friendships, becoming exposed to opportunities, being involved in the community, and becoming a new you. I have entered this competition to gain that.”
