Did you forget your money in an ATM?

A good Samaritan found forgotten money at a Krugersdorp ATM and would like to return it to its rightful owner.

A woman with an honest heart has been searching far and wide to return an unknown person’s money.

Christa Mathee has turned to social media and the News to try and find the person who left behind money withdrawn from a local ATM on Monday, January 31.

Christa told the News that when she and her husband went past the ATM at 13:30 they saw the money. They waited to see if someone would come back for it, but no one did.

With times being as tough as they are, Christa is concerned that the money belongs to someone in desperate need. She believes the person either forgot to take the money from the ATM or thought the transaction had failed.

Christa said she would keep the money safe and if the person could tell her the exact amount and the location of the ATM, she would return it.
