No window of opportunity for thugs

Two people were apprehended on suspicion of stealing a window frame in Tanner Street in Krugersdorp West.

A Mapogo A Mathamaga response officer apprehended two people on suspicion of stealing a window frame in Tanner Street in Krugersdorp West on June 8.

According to the security company’s spokesperson, Ben Willemse, “Whilst conducting an area patrol just after 20:00 the response officer noticed suspicious persons walking in the street. Shortly afterwards he saw the same people climbing over the wall of a residence and he approached them.

They attempted to flee but the officer arrested them. A window frame was found in their possession,” said Willemse.

The police were contacted and the suspects were handed over to them for further investigation.
