Two arrested for stripping unoccupied house

They were also in possession of copper from stolen cables.

At about noon on Tuesday, June 21, two suspects were arrested by Cordiguard Security reaction officers in Wentworth Park.

According to Zander Schlemmer, director of the security company, the reaction officers were patrolling when they received a call from a resident on Main Reef Road saying thugs were stripping an unoccupied house nearby.

The officers caught two of them red-handed. They were also in possession of copper from stolen cables.

It is unbelievable how they stripped everything in the house. Even the plug sockets. It looked like a ghost house,” Schlemmer told the News.
