This past week saw a minimal drop in incidents in Krugersdorp that Mapogo A Mathamaga Security attended to.
According to their weekly report supplied by Operations Manager Ben Willemse the following incidents were recorded:
• Monday, July 4 at 07:07 – Housebreaking and theft on Viljoen Street, Krugersdorp North: Perpetrator gained entry into the premises through the bathroom window at the back of the property and stole two laptop computers, a computer screen and petty cash before fleeing the scene.
• Monday, July 4 at 13:08 – Theft and arrest in Vlakdrift Plots, Tarlton: Perpetrator gained entry onto the premises through the fence and was caught by the onsite guard while attempting to steal a bag of mealies from the premises.
• Tuesday, July 5 at 22:40 – Attempted break-in on Kingdom Street, Krugersdorp North: Perpetrators forced open the padlocks on the main gate to gain entry onto the premises. When the owner heard the noise he gave the alarm and the perpetrators fled the scene.
• Saturday, July 9 at 07:03 – Housebreaking and theft on Human Street, Central: Perpetrators climbed over the front wall to gain entry onto the premises, forced open the boardroom, and stole chairs and a microwave oven.
