Parts of Monument and Noordheuwel have been without electricity since 09:30 on Monday (February 3) after a cable theft incident.

“According to feedback from the electrical department, the power outage in the area is due to a stolen cable.
There is no estimated time for restoration,” Councilor Amy Steyn said.
