Licensing center temporarily closed following robbery

Robbery at the licensing centre leads to its temporary closure.

Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) confirmed that a robbery took place at the Krugersdorp Driving Licence Testing Centre in Delporton in the early hours of July 6.

As a result, the centre will be temporarily closed until further notice, according to MCLM communications officer Refilwe Mahlangu.

“We are unable to confirm an exact date of reopening at this stage as the centre is a crime scene under investigation by the South African Police Service. We apologise for the inconvenience that this may cause and thank you in advance for your understanding,” Mahlangu concluded.
