During surveillance, a truck traveling on Larsens Road was stopped for inspection. A search of the vehicle revealed boxes filled with illicit alcohol, and the driver was immediately arrested.

Upon questioning, the suspect confirmed that he was en route to deliver the alcohol to Evaton and that the boxes originated from the plot,” Morwane said.

“Acting on this information, officers searched the plot and discovered alcohol manufacturing equipment, large quantities of chemicals, and additional containers suspected to be used in the production of counterfeit liquor.”
