Muldersdrift shooting: One dead on R28 service road

A man was fatally shot on Falls Road in Muldersdrift, and police have launched a murder investigation.

Falls Road in Muldersdrift has become an active crime scene after a man was shot and killed on the R28 service road early on Tuesday morning, December 2.

According to Colonel Paul van Eeden from the SAPS West Rand District Commissioner’s office, police were called to the scene at about 09:40 following reports of a shooting.

“When we arrived, we discovered a vehicle with a single victim who had been fatally shot. The motive remains unclear at this stage. A murder investigation has been launched,” he confirmed.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
