Police seize R1.7m in drugs in Noordheuwel

A late-night police operation led to the arrest of two people found with drugs valued at an estimated R1.7m.

During the late hours of March 15, police arrested two individuals suspected of possessing a large quantity of drugs.

According to the provincial police spokesperson, Captain Tintswalo Sibeko, authorities acted on a tip-off.

The suspects are scheduled to appear in the Krugersdorp Magistrate’s Court on March 17.
