Flying Squad recovers stolen Hilux worth R800k
The West Rand Flying Squad made several arrests and recovered a stolen Toyota Hilux worth about R800 000 during operations conducted between May 4 and 10.
The West Rand Flying Squad (WRFS) recorded several successes between May 4 and 10, including four arrests and the recovery of a stolen vehicle.
According to WRFS spokesperson Karen du Plessis, officers made several arrests during the week while also recovering stolen property.
The first arrest took place on May 4 in Kagiso, where police arrested a suspect for contravening a protection order.

On the evening of May 6, officers arrested another suspect who had an outstanding warrant of arrest for assault.
Du Plessis added that on May 7, police arrested two suspects for possession of stolen property and recovered stolen gate motors.
On May 10, officers recovered an abandoned stolen Toyota Hilux in Munsieville. The recovered vehicle is estimated to be worth about R800 000.
