Oops! Municipality apologises for demand letter errors

Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) advised residents that an error occurred when the municipality’s Credit Control issued a final demand letter to their customers.

MCLM communications officer Adrian Amod said this happened on August 22, where letters were erroneously issued for accounts not in arrears.

“While we advise customers to ignore these letters, we apologise for the inconvenience caused,” Amod said.
