Maintenance on N14, Driefontein Roads: Motorists urged to drive with caution
Councillor warns residents to drive carefully while maintenance is done on the N14 and Driefontein Roads.
The Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport is currently performing maintenance work, including clearing verges and storm drains on the N14 and Driefontein Roads.
Councillor Shenan Cochrane thus warns the community to be safe on these roads and to drive cautiously.
“In the past, there have been numerous crashes on these roads due to long grass that causes weak visibility and where drivers take chances leading to fatal crashes. While the team is doing maintenance, please drive carefully,” she urged.
She concluded the maintenance will be done within the next two weeks.
