Nic Diederichs THS becomes lifeline for residents without water
Nic Diederichs THS is supporting residents affected by water supply issues by providing access to water tanks outside the school until the supply is restored.
Krugersdorp residents who are without water can make use of water tankers placed outside the gates of Nic Diederichs Technical High School (THS) to fill up their buckets.
According to the school’s facilities manager, Rehandre Landman, the tanks will be available outside the school between 08:00 and 17:00 until the water supply has been fully restored.

“We have water tanks that we can refill if they run out. We are doing this to stand by the community throughout this water crisis in town,” he said.
Landman concluded that residents are welcome to come and collect water, while those who would like to assist by providing additional tanks and trucks are more than welcome to do so.
