Angus Buchan to pray for Mogale City
Schools, churches, family, friends and the whole community are invited to be part of a prayer meeting with evangelist Angus Buchan on September 24.
After receiving a letter from a community member of Mogale City, evangelist Angus Buchan decided to host a prayer meeting in Mogale City.
It is said in a statement that the resident and many other community members are desperate for a move of God, especially after Krugersdorp was labelled ‘Devilsdorp’ a recent documentary about the so-called Krugersdorp murders.
According to the statement the area is plagued by unemployment, shocking levels of poverty, crime, drugs, alcoholism, satanism and absolute despair. Buchan also received photos of communities living in tents, and children running around in winter with very little clothing on. Feeling angered by what the devil had done in this community he agreed to hold a prayer meeting in Mogale City.
Although the venue has not been confirmed yet the date is set and schools, churches, family, friends and the whole community are invited to be part of the meeting on September 24.
We will not only be praying for Mogale City, but for all the people in our beloved South Africa. This might be the very match that will light a burning revival through our country.
“Only Jesus can save South Africa. We will Speak Jesus over our country, over our people, over our government, over the sick, the depressed, over the unemployed. We will Speak Jesus over addictions, over poverty, over corruption and over every occultic stronghold. We believe that it is only Jesus who will bring healing, change and hope to our country. That is why we are calling this event ‘Speak Jesus’,” said Buchan.
The event is free and attendees are encouraged to arrive early. The meeting will start with worship at 12:00 followed by Buchan leading everyone in prayer.
The venue is near the intersection of the R28 and N14. There will be four routes to follow if arriving by car. Buses and pick-up points have also been arranged.
Suggestions on what to bring with you: Drinking water (be sure to bring more than enough), hats and sunscreen, sunglasses, packed food (there will be no food vendors), first aid kit, comfortable shoes (there is some walking involved), toilet paper, cooler box with ice, picnic blankets or chairs, torch, windbreaker, bag for refuse, and backpack (to carry belongings in and litter out).
Parents are asked to please write their telephone number on their children’s arms with a permanent marker and please let their kids wear colourful clothing.
