Upcoming U3A West Rand events not to miss

The U3A West Rand invites the community to attend the following meetings:
The U3A West Rand will hold their final member meeting of the year on Tuesday, November 8 at 9:30 a.m. at the Anglican Church of the Ascension, Red Thorn St, Rangeview, Krugersdorp. Before the talk, come have a cup of tea and meet new people. Peter Greaves will be the speaker, and he will take us on an adventure to Ghana in search of an extremely rare bird. Do not miss this presentation. Join the U3A (University of the Third Age), a retiree organisation that holds monthly meetings to hear a variety of very interesting talks and fun outings and lunches. The U3A West Rand will go to Ludwig’s Roses Egoli in The Lonehill area on Wednesday, November 16. The admission is free. They will then spend some time at Prison Break Market, which has a wide variety of crafter and designer stalls as well as food stalls. A good place to look for unique gifts. On Sunday, December 4, the U3A West Rand concludes the year’s activities with a special Christmas Lunch at Glenburn Lodge. Come join them for a buffet lunch and carvery featuring a variety of delectable dishes and dessert. Each person pays R260.
