Key West always ready to lend a helping hand
A gardening service under the instruction of Key West's management was proud to assist municipal workers to clean the streets in Krugersdorp North last week.
The staff and management of Key West Shopping Centre have always been known for their big hearts and helping hands and recently pitched in to assist gardeners of the Mogale City Local Municipality’s Extended Public Works Program.
On Wednesday, November 23, a gardening service under the instruction of Key West’s management was proud to assist municipal workers who were cleaning the streets. They cleared grass, weeds and litter at the areas at the main intersections to the centre on Paardekraal Drive and Viljoen Street.
“Key West prides itself on initiatives where we can make an impact in the community with small and consistent efforts. Together, we can upkeep our city,” said Daphney Teffo, Key West’s marketing manager.
She added that the centre wants to aid in the upkeep of the community’s roads and parks. They do this on a regular basis and also want to encourage the public to volunteer and participate in community clean up projects.
“It takes small and consistent efforts to make a difference and we are committed to keeping our surroundings clean.”
