Monument Primary Grade 1’s come prepared

There were no tears in sight at Monument Primary when parents dropped of their Grade 1’s for their first official day in big school.

The little ones were accompanied by parents and welcomed by their new class mates and teachers on Wednesday, January 11.

Although parents could walk to class with their children, they had to quickly say goodbye so that learning can commence, but that did not seem to bother the learners as they were ready for whatever Grade 1 has to throw at them.

There was also little time to waste as the new group got straight into it by taking part in athletics.
