The girl was held in a shack and raped, but her father found and rescued her.

A father came to the rescue of his 14-year-old daughter who was held hostage and raped by three young men. The police arrested all three on Sunday morning, April 2.

“Early the next morning, the victim suddenly noticed three unknown men standing on top of her. The suspects took her to a shack at Sinqobile where she was locked up and left alone.”

She said they then returned later that night and undressed her. They took turns raping her and she was kept in the shack. Her father came to her rescue the next day, April 1. He told police that he received a tip-off from residents about where his daughter was.

When he arrived at the shack he allegedly broke open the door and rescued the young girl.

Captain Sibiya said a rape case had been opened by the victim’s father and the police started searching for the three suspects. They found and arrested them the next day.
