Junior Gauteng Police Commissioner hails from Krugersdorp

The newly appointed Gauteng Provincial Junior Commissioner is someone from our ranks.

On July 21 a Junior Commissioners event was held at Wits University and the Ekhuruleni District Commissioner, Major General Annah Mateisie represented the Gauteng Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Elias Mawela at the event.

Four participants from each of the five Gauteng districts were in attendance.

The West Rand District Junior Commissioner Mduduzi Mazibuko, from Krugersdorp, was appointed the Gauteng Provincial Junior Commissioner and his deputy, from Fochville. Mesuli Simelane walked away with the Provincial Deputy Junior Commissioner for the Crime Detection Portfolio.

The appointment of Mazibuko was welcomed with a standing ovation.
