Local artists honoured at Mogale City Music Awards
Many local artists made their way to Chief Mogale Hall last month to get recognition for their hard work with the mic.
The Mogale City Music Awards honoured the best in music during the festive season.
What was the third annual event of its kind saw as many as 100 local artists taking the stage to receive recognition for their hard work with the mic.
According to the host and organiser Thami Papa, the awards celebrated not only the best but also serve as an initiative to bring hope to up-and-coming musicians from different parts of Mogale City.

Thami has been running the initiative for three years without any funding and said he is driven by the passion of artists.
“It is just wonderful to see how they develop. It makes everything worthwhile,” he said.
