Fire breaks out at Azaadville restaurant
The cause of a fire at a local restaurant and takeaway is unknown at this stage.
Firefighters were called to a fire that broke out at a restaurant and takeaway shop in Azaadville.
Mogale City’s Emergency Services’ Regional Station Commander Gerhard Niewoudt confirmed the incident occurred sometime Tuesday morning, May 21.
Despite rumours circulating on social media, Nieuwoudt said there were no fatalities in the fire.
An update will be given once more information becomes available.
