New mayor encourages students during Westcol graduation

After almost a week in office, the newly elected Executive Mayor of Mogale City has hit the ground running, partaking in a series of interventions.

According to Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) communications officer Adrian Amod, what can be perceived as a lighter note initiative, Mayor Lucky Sele recently visited Westcol during its graduation ceremony in the Centenary Hall.

“The executive mayor shared words of wisdom and encouragement with graduates, highlighting their roles in a growing city economy stemming from infrastructure growth, investments in the mining sector, industrialisation and other economic sector initiatives by government and private sector,” Amod expressed.

“Dreams are made to become true by the brave and the bold,” Sele concluded his speech to the parents and graduates.
