Piano teacher honoured for assisting intellectually disabled

Elaine Learmonth was announced as the most dedicated piano teacher for the intellectually disabled on the West Rand during this year’s RACA Eisteddfod.

Elaine is also the sports co-ordinator at Logwood Village (a home for the intellectually disabled situated in Muldersdrift) not to mention a piano teacher for residents.

“I also accepted the Logwood Village Award given to those who go above and beyond in their work with the residents in sports and culture,” she concluded.
