Buy a ticket from the West Rand Beach Buggies to support a local charity.
Once or twice a year, the West Rand Beach Buggies (WRBB) organisation is in the privileged position to give back.
Spokesperson for the WRBB, Johan Wolmerans, said their chosen charity this year is an organisation whose objective is to promote the treatment, education, training, employment and general welfare of persons with disabilities – the West Rand Association for Persons with Disabilities.
“The group goal will be to transfer R20 000 into their account. To get to this amount, 100 tickets will be sold at R200 each. The tickets will let you stand a chance to win one of three hampers. The handover function will happen on the morning of our year-end function on December 1, before we depart to the year-end venue,” John said.
