Don’t panic! New security panic button app coming soon
The activation of a new security panic button app will be hosted in Krugersdorp CBD on November 22.
Gauteng e-Government will once again visit the Krugersdorp community to assist in downloading the e-Panic Button app.
The spokesperson for the Gauteng Department of e-Government, Gundo Maalakano, said the activation for the app will take place from 09:00 to 14:00 on Friday, November 22, on the corner of Commissioner and Market Street in Krugersdorp.
“The e-Panic Button is a vital initiative of the Gauteng Provincial Government aimed at ensuring a quick response from law enforcement agencies and security companies during crime incidents. It is a free service that allows Gauteng residents to report emergencies effectively and receive immediate assistance. Community members of Krugersdorp are encouraged to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to download the app for free,” he concluded.
