CPF Sector 8 ready to serve
The CPF Sector 8 is under new leadership and they appeal to community members to join the fight against crime for a safer Krugersdorp.
In an effort to build a relationship with residents and the police, CPF Sector 8 recently hosted a meet and greet.
This follows the election of new leadership and all CPF members are eager, dedicated and ready to serve as well as play a role in ensuring a safer community.
The sector will mainly serve areas such as Breaunanda, Factoria, Kenmare, Rangeview and Silverfields.
According to chairperson Werner Roets, they are made up of members in the community, businessmen, local organisations, the Rate Payers Associations, and even religious organisations with one goal in mind – to fight against and prevent crime, not to mention work hand-in-hand with police.
Community policing was created by the Police Act of 1995 and it is being used as a philosophy that guides police management styles and operational strategies emphasising the establishment of police-community partnerships and a problem-solving approach responsive to the needs of the community.
Anyone who would like to be part of the CPF Sector 8 can contact Werner on 083 458 1597.
