Christmas in the Muldersdrift countryside
Foresight Church described its annual Carols in the Countryside event as a huge success with nearly 1 000 people in attendance.
Foresight Church hosted its annual Carols in the Countryside event on November 29, an occasion organizers described as magical.
Karabo Ramookho, a member of the church’s office team, reflected on the evening, saying, “This year’s Carols in the Countryside was a major success. We welcomed around 800 people who came together to celebrate the real reason for the season – the birth of Jesus Christ. The atmosphere was vibrant, filled with music, laughter, and a profound sense of community. Hearing everyone join in as we sang was amazing.”
Guests enjoyed a variety of food trucks offering delicious treats, enhancing the festive experience.
“The highlight of the evening was the beautiful blend of contemporary and traditional Christmas carols, which provided a heartwarming and reflective experience for families and friends,” Karabo shared.
She added, “Carols in the Countryside is an annual, wholesome family event designed to bring people together in a safe, festive environment to celebrate the Christmas message of hope and joy. It is truly a privilege to host city residents on our grounds.”
The success of the event was evident in the smiles, laughter, and sense of togetherness that permeated the evening.
“Our goal is to create a space where people can connect, relax, and embrace the true meaning of Christmas. Carols in the Countryside continues to be a highlight of the festive season, and Foresight Church looks forward to welcoming the community again next year for another memorable celebration,” she concluded.
