First responders spoilt for their rescuing efforts

Emergency workers, crime prevention officers, paramedics, law enforcement and EPWP workers were spoiled to lunch to thank them for their efforts.

After a long year of responding to many accidents and emergencies and doing their best to serve the people of Mogale City, many first responders were spoilt to lunch at Silverstar.

According to the event organiser, David Selemogo, the aim was to thank all emergency departments for their efforts.

He said the function hosted many of the municipality’s emergency workers, crime prevention officers, paramedics, law enforcement, and Expanded Public Works Programme workers.

“This was the perfect way for workers to dine out and relax, as many of them work hard to make sacrifices in the community. The lunch expressed gratitude to all the emergency responders who worked tirelessly during the most challenging times. Their bravery and commitment often go unnoticed, so this was a way to show our appreciation to them and their commitment to saving lives,” Selemogo concluded.
