One airlifted after early morning crash between truck and vehicle on N14
One injury was reported following a crash involving a truck and a vehicle on the N14 early this morning.
A serious crash occurred between a truck and a vehicle early this morning, March 31, resulting in heavy traffic on the N14.
Details on how the crash occurred are not clear, however, one person was left injured.
According to West Rand Emergency Services Regional Commander Gerhard Nieuwoudt, the crash occurred at about 05:35 on the N14 towards Pretoria just before the Malibongwe off-ramp, and both vehicles were severely damaged.
“Several emergency services urgently arrived on the scene, such as Mogale City Public Safety and Gauteng Emergency Services.
The scene has since been cleared, and motorists are advised to still drive with caution.”
Miraculously, Nieuwoudt confirmed there were no casualties, however, one person sustained injuries and had to be airlifted.
