The organisation recently took it upon itself to visit the Pikoko informal settlement in Muldersdrift and donated a wide range of essential items.
The programme director of the organisation, Timothy Zulu, added that the initiative forms part of their outreach programme to assist disadvantaged people.
“Our outreach programme had a significant impact on the Pikoko community. The items distributed helped to address some of the basic needs of the residents, providing them with essential clothing, food, and personal care items. The Easter eggs and treats brought smiles to the children’s faces, making their day a little brighter.
We are committed to continuing our outreach efforts in Pikoko and other communities in need.
“We believe that every individual deserves access to necessities and opportunities for growth and development. Our team will continue to work tirelessly to make a positive difference in the lives of those we serve.”
Zulu further explained that Education of Hope Africa is a youth-led NPO based in the community of Kagiso.
Education of Hope Africa was founded in 2017 to tackle the high rate of HIV, Aids and TB within the communities, schools, churches, workplace and to early childhood care givers by developing their capacity and resilience to effectively address socio-economic and health issues in the context of high HIV and Aids burden with the ultimate vision of creating an HIV free generation.
