Lend a hand to clean the Cradle this Friday

The Cradle of Humankind, a world heritage site, is one of Krugersdorp’s biggest tourist attractions, and residents will have the opportunity to help keep it clean at the end of this week.

Councillor Gwen Britz invites the community to a clean-up this Friday, May 30.

“The campaign will start at 08:30 and will continue until noon, with the meet-up place at Bidon Bistro in Muldersdrift,” she explained.

She concluded they are going to pick up litter to do good for the environment, and encourages residents who will join to wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and says it’s going to be a fun morning.
