Tragic air crash: One dead, another injured

One dead and another seriously wounded after a light aircraft crash, following take-off.

It has been confirmed that a light aircraft crashed earlier today, June 5, following its takeoff at Lanseria International Airport, leaving one person dead and another injured.

This is according to Sterkfontein Emergency Medical Services’ (EMS) station commander AndrĂ© Raijmakers.

He said the light aircraft crashed in the Kalkheuvel agricultural holdings area near the lion park at the North West border.
