Game-changer for farmers: MCLM launches mechanisation plan

Help shape the future of farming by attending Mogale City's draft mechanisation policy review meeting on June 30. Your input can help boost productivity and encourage innovation in local agriculture.

Mogale City Local Municipality will be hosting an engagement session on its mechanisation support policy next week, which is expected to improve farming efficiency by increasing productivity, reducing labour time and promoting smart agricultural practices.

Residents are encouraged to participate in this initiative.

According to MCLM communications officer Refilwe Mahlangu, MCLM is developing a mechanisation support policy and needs voices from the ground, including farmers, agri-preneurs and experts.

“However, without a clear policy to guide support programmes, challenges keep cropping up,” she said.

She invites stakeholders to the engagement session to refine the draft policy from 10:00 on June 30 at Centenary Hall.
