Luna still missing after break-in at Govender home

After a break-in at their Rico Crescent home, the Govender family’s beloved dog Luna disappeared. They continue their search and appeal to the public for help.

The Govender family is still searching for their missing Maltese-Jack Russell cross, Luna, and is offering a R2 000 reward for her safe return.

Luna’s owner, Janelle Govender, explained that Luna went missing on October 29, shortly before intruders broke into their home in Rico Crescent, Noordheuwel.

Luna is a small, fluffy dog with white fur and black spots, including a distinctive black mark on her head. Janelle said Luna responds to her name or to the phrase “here is a biscuit.”

On November 3, Janelle told the Krugersdorp News that they are lost without their Luna.
“She is part of our family, and losing her has been hell for us,” she said.

Anyone with information about Luna’s whereabouts is urged to contact Janelle at 084 656 5234 or Revashan at 076 984 1717.
