Cradle of Hope appeals for help to feed and support Krugersdorp families

From cooking oil and rice to nappies and washing powder, Cradle of Hope needs your support to sustain vital community programmes.

The Cradle of Hope (COH), a well-known NPO in Krugersdorp that feeds and supports those in need, is appealing for community support to sustain its programmes.

They feed around 2 000 less fortunate adults and children per day, and according to CEO Melodie van Brakel, the organisation urgently needs a variety of essential items to continue uplifting the community.

These include:

• cooking oil
• peanut butter and jam
• shampoo
• rice
• tea and coffee
• Rooibos tea
• macaroni and spaghetti
• washing powder
• nappies
• canned tomato and onion mix

Van Brakel said residents do not even need to drop off the items themselves. Donations can be sent via grocery delivery services to 106 Stegmann Street, Krugersdorp West.

She added residents can also organise deliveries with their office, and can contact Janine on 076 262 0452.

“We are very grateful for every donation we receive, and thanks to the help and support of wonderful donors with caring hearts, we can make a difference in the lives of thousands of adults and children,” Melodie concluded.
