Mindalore residents left in the dark

Residents across several Mindalore streets have been without electricity since 04:23, with the cause of the sudden blackout still unknown.

From the early hours of February 23, Mindalore residents have been without electricity.

According to Councillor Amy Steyn, the power outage began at about 04:23 and is affecting numerous streets, including:

• Trezona
• Wege
• Cowie
• Richardson
• Gregor
• Haynes
• Van Zyl Ham
• Bow
• Exchange
• Main Reef

Steyn said the cause of the outage is still unknown, and there is no confirmed time for power to be restored. The Krugersdorp News will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.
