Search for missing Ferdinand Fourie continues after car found

The Vulnerable Citizens Support Initiative is assisting in the search for Ferdinand Fourie, who was last seen near the corner of Gustav and Randfontein Street.

The search continues for Kenmare resident Ferdinand Fourie (50), who has been missing since September last year. The Vulnerable Citizens Support Initiative (VCSI) has shared additional information about his disappearance.

At the time of publication, Fourie remains missing. He was last seen on September 19 while driving home from work in Dobsonville, but never arrived at his destination.

Civilian Crime Intelligence Network board member Mahmood Cassim, who leads the VCSI, said Fourie went missing at about 19:15 that evening.

His last known location was at the corner of Gustav and Randfontein Street while he was on his way home.

Cassim added that Fourie’s vehicle was later recovered in the Roodepoort CBD.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact the Roodepoort police.
