One dead after truck and car crash in Krugersdorp CBD

Numerous emergency services are on the scene following an early morning crash.

Emergency crews are on the scene of a collision between a truck and a light vehicle.

One person has died following a crash between a truck and a light motor vehicle in the Krugersdorp CBD early this morning, March 5.

According to Mogale City Public Safety assistant manager Jimmy Keet, the incident occurred at about 06:55.

“A truck and a light motor vehicle collided at the corner of Luipaard and Munsie streets,” he said.

This hatchback collided with a truck, resulting in one death.

The Krugersdorp News is currently on the scene, where several emergency services are in attendance, including Public Safety, Mogale Fire and Rescue, police and ambulance services.
