Anti-bullying campaign to inspire kindness

Mr South Africa finalist Nico Oberholzer visited Laerskool Kenmare for an anti-bullying campaign.

Mr South Africa finalist Nico Oberholzer took time out of his busy schedule to pay a visit to Laerskool Kenmare and educate both children and adults about the importance of taking a stand against bullying.

He said the anti-bullying campaign is dedicated to creating safe environments in schools, workplaces and online spaces.

For starters, Nico and his team handed out leaflets and held boards with messages, calling for an end to bullying.

The message sent during the campaign.

“Close to 500 leaflets were handed out to parents and surrounds. Raising awareness about bullying is essential to creating safer spaces. The campaign was a powerful step toward inspiring kindness and standing up against bullying. Together, we can foster respect, empathy and unity in every school and the whole of society,” Oberholzer said.

In addition to this campaign, his other initiatives include youth empowerment, gender-based violence as well as mental health awareness campaigns aimed at reaching various audiences across the country.
