New Curro High leaders poised to inspire, unite and leave a legacy

Aeron, Katiso, Rethabile, Ofentse and Chad are ready to lead with integrity, spirit and dedication, shaping a year of growth and unity at Curro Krugersdorp High.

Curro Krugersdorp High School proudly announced its new head leaders for 2026.

According to the school’s marketer, Dibuseng Mabuya, the team is ready to serve, uplift and lead their peers with excellence and heart.

Dibuseng said that at the forefront of this team are head boy Aeron Wecke and head girl Katiso Mokoteli.

“Both have shown exceptional leadership qualities and a deep commitment to the school community,” she said.

As the head boy, Aeron would like to do his absolute best to work, not only with the other leaders, but also with the learners and teachers, to leave a lasting legacy at the school.

“I look forward to the year with optimism and remain committed to serving our school community with integrity and dedication,” Katiso added.

Rethabile Khwebane, Ofentse Mogoboya and Chad Mkansi are also stepping into important leadership roles as deputy head leaders and stick masters. They will play key roles in supporting the school’s culture and encouraging student involvement.

“They will be responsible for promoting discipline, school spirit and unity across all grades,” Dibuseng continued.

“I look forward to serving my school community, working together with my fellow leaders, and making a positive difference,” said Rethabile.

For Mabuya, their election marks the beginning of a year filled with promise, where student voice and collaboration will shape the school’s journey.

“The 2026 head leaders are set to make a lasting impact, not only through their actions but through the legacy they leave behind,” Dibuseng concluded.
